What You'll Do
As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll partner with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and improve innovative training systems that bring complex industrial concepts to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop new products from concept through production launch
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Curriculum teams to deliver customer-focused solutions
- Ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, reliable, and competitive in the marketplace
- Improve existing products through redesigns, upgrades, component substitutions, and cost-reduction initiatives
- Process and implement Engineering Change Requests (ECRs)
- Create, maintain, and update CAD models, technical drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Support prototype development, testing, and product validation activities
- Contribute ideas that enhance product performance, user experience, and educational value
What You'll Bring - Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Experience with mechanical design principles and engineering best practices
- Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automation systems and industrial equipment
- Knowledge of fluid power systems (hydraulics and pneumatics)
- Familiarity with HVAC or refrigeration systems
- Experience supporting products from concept through manufacturing
