Job Summary
Provides case management community support for clients diagnosed with serious mental illness. Case managers provide client support and education 40 hours a week, with a high volume of direct contact hours. Great for LPC Associates earning hours, with FREE supervision. Approximately 25 hours a week of direct client contact.
Candidates should be comfortable working independently in the community, as well as within a team structure, to provide services in client homes, day programs, doctor offices, shelters, and any community location needed to access and assist the client. Candidates should have strong problem solving skills, ability to teach new skills, willingness to advocate for clients in the community when needed, and a general concern for the well-being of people experiencing multiple barriers associated with general life and serious mental illness.
Qualifications and Skills
Must have a Bachelor's degree in a Human Services or equivalent in psychology, social work, counseling. sociology or other human service.
Master's prefered.
