Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician with OT (overtime) availability to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, utilizing a broad skill set to maintain and troubleshoot complex industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in industrial maintenance, electrical and mechanical systems, and possess excellent troubleshooting skills to ensure optimal plant operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems using schematics, blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Operate and maintain specialized tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, precision measuring instruments, and welding equipment.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and manage inventory.
- Conduct equipment diagnostics using PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), electrical blueprint reading, and analysis skills to identify root causes of issues.
- Support industrial mechanic activities including hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC/R systems, and welding processes.
- Assist with technical sales support by providing expertise on equipment repair and maintenance solutions when needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices.
- Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting electrical systems, and electrical blueprint reading.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC/R systems, and the use of precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read schematics and electrical blueprints accurately for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Familiarity with CMMS platforms for maintenance management.
- Skilled in equipment troubleshooting involving PLCs and engineering troubleshooting methods.
- Experience with welding ( welding preferred), electrical systems repair, and industrial electrician tasks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by industrial mechanic experience.
- Ability to operate scissor lifts safely and perform maintenance at various heights.
- Excellent analysis skills coupled with customer service orientation to support internal teams effectively.
- Proficiency in English communication; technical sales experience is a plus but not required.
