Duties
- Provide professional nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, Gel X, Hard gel and nail art with precision and attention to detail
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable nail treatments or enhancements
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in accordance with health regulations, ensuring the safety of clients and staff
- Stay current on the latest nail trends, techniques, and products to offer innovative services
- Promote retail sales of nail care products and other beauty items through effective upselling strategies
- Assist with maintaining inventory levels of supplies and equipment needed for daily operations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a welcoming environment that encourages repeat business and client satisfaction
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail technology or related field
- Strong knowledge of nail care techniques, color theory, sanitation standards, and skin health
- Experience with various nail treatments such as gel application, acrylics, nail art, and cuticle care
- Familiarity with additional beauty services like eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, hair threading, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatments is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to engage clients effectively and provide personalized recommendations
- Ability to perform retail math for upselling opportunities while maintaining a customer-first approach
- Demonstrated commitment to sanitation protocols and safety standards in a salon environment
- Passion for continuous learning about new trends in nail design and overall beauty industry advancements
