Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to support seasonal offerings and customer preferences
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation following food safety protocols at all times
- Handle food with care, demonstrating proper knife skills and food handling techniques to ensure safety and quality
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate meal preparation during busy service periods
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality standards
- Serve dishes efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive service and presentation
Experience
- Proven experience as a Line Cook in a fast-paced restaurant or fine dining establishment
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food industry standards
- Experience with dietary department procedures and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus
- Skilled in menu planning, meal preparation, and food handling safety practices
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation, knife skills, and food safety regulations is essential
- Previous catering experience or restaurant experience is highly desirable
