Schedule: Saturday & Sunday (On-Call Weekend Shift)
About the Role We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our team as an On-Call Weekend Caregiver supporting clients throughout Cape Cod.
In this role, you will maintain open availability over the weekend to step in and provide hands-on care coverage for open shifts, call-outs, or urgent client needs. You will receive a guaranteed $100 stipend just for being on call for the weekend, plus your full hourly pay rate for any shifts you work. Key Responsibilities
- Remain available and ready to respond during on-call weekend hours (Saturdays and Sundays).
- Travel throughout Cape Cod to provide coverage for open shifts, urgent client needs, and call-outs.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance.
- Help with instrumental daily tasks, such as meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and running errands.
- Deliver compassionate companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
- Monitor, document, and report changes in client health, condition, or daily care progress accurately to care managers and supervisors.
- Adhere to individualized care plans while maintaining a safe, respectful, and dignified environment.
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required.
- 1–3 years of caregiving experience, preferably in home care, assisted living, or long-term care settings.
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with dementia, developmental disabilities, or mental health conditions highly valued.
- Strong adaptability and comfort stepping into new client homes on short notice.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation, active driver's license, auto insurance, and willingness to travel throughout Cape Cod.
- English proficiency required (spoken and written).
