Job Title: Personal Injury Litigation Legal Assistant (LA) / Paralegal

Position Summary: Duties include handling all aspects of personal injury litigation cases, including scheduling (depositions, hearings and mediations, etc.), preparing closing statements, demand letters, requesting medical records and bills, as well as overall file management.
Prefer a Legal Assistant or Paralegal with at least two years of prior personal injury litigation experience. You must have excellent organizational and communication skills (verbal and written), as well as the ability to work with a degree of confidentiality and professionalism delivering high-quality, customer-focused results in a fast-paced environment.

Role and Responsibilities: Completes the following tasks to assist the attorney in the management of their docket including, but not limited to the following:
· Receive intake calls and conduct client intake interviews.
· Manage calendar by entering all appropriate information and routing entries to attorney
· Prepare documentation for file.
· Enter information in Legal Files (LF).
· Management and organization of client files.
· Conduct research to support legal proceedings.
· Respond to and manage client inquiries.
· Act as a liaison between client and attorney.
· Preparing discovery documents, legal pleadings and correspondence.
· Reviewing and analyzing medical records and other documents as required.
· Review and summarize depositions.
· Assist attorney with trial preparation.
· Must have exceptional communication skills, and be comfortable communicating with clients, courts, witnesses, parties, etc.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Works are Monday thru Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with an hour for lunch.
