Compensation:
$600 per week base salary plus commission
Position Overview:
The Service Writer serves as the primary point of contact between our customers and the service department. You’ll be responsible for understanding customer concerns, clearly communicating repair recommendations, and ensuring a smooth, professional service experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers promptly and professionally
- Listen to and document customer concerns accurately
- Open and close repair orders in a timely manner
- Communicate recommended services and repairs clearly and confidently
- Provide accurate estimates for time and cost of repairs
- Maintain consistent follow up with customers regarding vehicle status
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow
- Upsell maintenance services when appropriate
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Previous automotive service writing or advisor experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Basic understanding of automotive systems and maintenance
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Valid driver’s license
