Summary
Under limited general direction, the Budget and Operations Manager assists in directing all Transportation Department finance and administrative operations. The Budget and Operations Manager manages the department's administrative, fiscal, and human resources activities. Duties include assisting, representing, and advising the department head and supervising staff. The work involves addressing a variety of problems and situations including interpreting information and refining methods used in managing, coordinating, scheduling, and documenting the work carried out by the Transportation Department. The Budget and Operations Manager is generally responsible for the administration of office administrative functions, including financial management, personnel functions, facilities needs analysis, contract administration and other administrative and budget related matters.
