Delivery Area: West Valley (Glendale, Peoria, Surprise and Sun City)
Position: Full-Time 1099 Independent Contractor
Pay: $2.40 per successfully delivered and verified package
Schedule: Monday–Friday; warehouse arrival between 5:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m.
Typical Daily Route Volume: Approximately 75–100+ packages per day
Sparx Couriers LLC is seeking a dependable independent contractor driver for an established dedicated delivery route.
The driver will report to the Tempe warehouse each morning to scan, organize and load assigned packages before completing the West Valley route. This is a consistent Monday–Friday opportunity requiring reliable attendance, strong route-management skills and professional communication.
Responsibilities
- Report to the Tempe warehouse within the required arrival window
- Scan, organize and load assigned packages
- Complete the assigned West Valley delivery route
- Use required GPS, scanning, routing and proof-of-delivery applications
- Accurately document all deliveries
- Communicate route delays, delivery issues or vehicle problems promptly
- Properly document and return undelivered packages
- Maintain accountability for all assigned packages
Requirements
- Be at least 25 years old
- Possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Cargo van in safe and dependable operating condition
- Have current cargo-van registration
- Have current and active automobile insurance
- Provide a clear copy of the current registration and active insurance card
- Own a hand truck or dolly suitable for package deliveries
- Have a reliable smartphone with active data service
- Be able to safely lift and handle a minimum of 50 pounds
- Maintain dependable Monday–Friday availability
- Work independently and complete the route in full
- Meet applicable background-check and motor-vehicle-record requirements
- Previous courier, parcel, Amazon, FedEx, UPS or route-delivery experience preferred
The contractor is responsible for all fuel expenses, vehicle maintenance, insurance, mobile-data service, taxes and other operating costs associated with completing the route.
Compensation is $2.40 for each package successfully delivered, properly scanned, documented and verified.
