Soma Tech, Int’l, a worldwide supplier of refurbished capital medical equipment based in Bloomfield, CT, is looking to add an articulate person with excellent listening skills to our sales team. This position requires initiative, the ability to quickly develop relationships with customers and a team orientation. This is an ideal position for a confident, goal-oriented problem solver who can learn new information quickly. We've grown dramatically over our 30+ years in business and we're looking for someone who can help us maintain our upward trajectory.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound leads from both existing and potential customers
- Source new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls
- Prospect call preparation including company background research and other pertinent lead information
- Manage and grow existing accounts
- Establish, develop and maintain positive customer relationships
- Meet and exceed annual sales targets
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotions
- Be primary contact for customers with questions/concerns
- Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to ensure orders are fulfilled in a timely fashion
- Enter, update and maintain CRM information on leads, prospects and opportunities
- Represent Soma Tech Int’l. at conferences/trade shows within designated territory
Desired Skills & Experience
- Fluent speaking/reading/writing English, Spanish bilingual is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience
- You are highly motivated and target driven
- You are not fazed by rejection or failure
- You feel comfortable talking with and meeting new people
- You learn new information quickly
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- You can work successfully as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- You have the ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize tasks
- You are proficient in MS Office and CRM software
- Medical/biomedical background a plus
Compensation & Benefits
· Base salary with uncapped commission, potential earnings from $75,000-$125,000
