DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated School Bus Driver to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of students to and from school, as well as during school-related activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to student safety, punctuality, and excellent communication skills.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Transportation Services:
- Safely operate a school bus on assigned routes and schedules.
- Transport students to and from school, field trips, and extracurricular activities.
Safety and Compliance:
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Follow all traffic laws, state, and federal regulations related to school bus operation.
- Maintain order and enforce rules for student behavior while on the bus.
Communication and Coordination:
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, school staff, and transportation supervisors.
- Report delays, accidents, or other issues promptly to the appropriate authorities.
Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or maintenance needs.
- Complete daily logs and report issues to the transportation department as necessary.
Emergency Preparedness:
- Understand and execute emergency evacuation procedures.
- Ensure students are familiar with emergency protocols.
Vehicle Maintenance:
- Keep the bus clean, both interior and exterior, to ensure a pleasant environment for students.
- Report maintenance or repair needs promptly to ensure the bus remains in good condition.
Professionalism:
- Exhibit a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Attend required training sessions and meetings.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $450.00 per week
