A well-established long-term care and rehabilitation center is seeking an experienced Staffing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in coordinating staffing needs within a nursing home or skilled nursing environment.
Staffing Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain schedules to ensure adequate nursing department coverage
- Coordinate call-outs, shift replacements, and open shifts
- Monitor staffing levels to maintain compliance with state and facility requirements
- Work closely with nursing leadership to address daily staffing needs
- Maintain accurate scheduling and attendance records
- Assist with onboarding and orientation scheduling for new employees
Staffing Coordinator Qualifications:
- Previous staffing or scheduling experience in a nursing home, skilled nursing, or long-term care setting required
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Experience with scheduling and payroll systems is a plus
