Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Manufacturing Technician to work on-site with our client, a top-tier Fortune 1000 electronics company. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.
Support day-to-day manufacturing, assembly, and metrology operations for established products and calibration standards. This role supports material flow across assembly, test, and shipping; maintains data traceability and compliance records; and assists engineering with prototype builds, process improvements, and lab systems support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support assembly, rework, packaging, labeling, and documentation activities for established products and calibration standards.
- Assist with prototype builds, engineering studies, and special manufacturing activities under engineering direction.
- Support implementation of special assembly instructions and engineering process changes.
- Support test station setup, configuration, readiness checks, and routine maintenance activities.
- Compile measurement data packages and generate reports for engineering review.
- Process jobs through manufacturing execution systems and support routings, costings, and related record updates.
- Maintain laboratory organization, equipment readiness, and asset tracking records.
Documentation, Quality & Compliance Support
- Maintain manufacturing databases, tracking spreadsheets, serial number traceability records, and measurement archives.
- Organize, archive, and maintain manufacturing and test data to support future analysis, investigations, and audits.
- Maintain assembly documentation, work instructions, forms, controlled records, and revision-controlled manufacturing documents.
- Perform routine dimensional and visual inspections and data collection using established procedures.
- Collect supporting evidence, photographs, and documentation for quality investigations and Non-Conforming Material (NCM) reports.
- Assist with product classification requests and manufacturing documentation updates.
- Support continuous improvement of manufacturing knowledge bases, troubleshooting guides, work instructions, and technical documentation systems.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, Manufacturing Technology, Metrology, or a related field preferred.
Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing, electronics assembly, or test/calibration environment
- Experience working with production databases, tracking spreadsheets, or ERP/MES systems preferred
- Prior exposure to controlled documentation, quality systems, or compliance programs is a plus
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, engineering drawings, and controlled procedures accurately
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Basic troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and standard office/database software
- Effective written communication
