Camellia Health and Rehabilitation Center is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager for our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Mobile, Alabama. We are looking for a strong nurse leader with experience in long-term care, post-acute care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation nursing to oversee daily clinical operations and support quality resident care.
This RN Unit Manager position is ideal for an experienced RN seeking a nursing leadership role in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care setting.
RN Unit Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily clinical operations and workflow for the assigned nursing unit
- Supervise and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
- Ensure high-quality resident care and customer service
- Monitor physician orders, treatments, documentation, and care plans
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and resident assessments
- Partner with interdisciplinary teams to support positive clinical outcomes
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Support infection prevention, quality measures, and survey readiness
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to nursing staff
Qualifications:
- Active Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Previous skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or post-acute experience preferred
- Prior nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and organizational skills
- Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
