Heating & Cooling Exxperts is a well established Twin Cities HVAC company seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team.
This role is ideal for a skilled technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, accurate diagnostics, professional customer service, and solving complex heating and cooling issues.
You'll diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of residential and light-commercial HVAC systems throughout the Twin Cities metro, including furnaces, air conditioning systems, boilers, hydronic systems, controls, ductwork, and related HVAC electrical components.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and light-commercial HVAC systems.
- Service furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, hydronic systems, controls, ductwork, and related components.
- Perform preventive maintenance for residential and commercial customers.
- Troubleshoot HVAC electrical, mechanical, airflow, combustion, and control issues.
- Clearly explain findings, repair options, and completed work to customers.
- Complete service documentation, work orders, and follow-up notes accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean, organized company truck and professional work area.
- Communicate with the office regarding parts needs, scheduling, follow-up work, and customer concerns.

Preferred Qualifications
- HVAC education or approximately 3 years of full-time residential/light-commercial HVAC service experience running your own service truck. Equivalent combinations of education and field experience will also be considered.
- EPA Section 608 Universal Certification.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Strong customer communication skills.
- Ability to safely work on ladders, in attics, basements, mechanical rooms, and outdoor conditions.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
- Boiler and hydronic heating experience preferred.
- Basic HVAC installation experience.
- Minneapolis or St. Paul HVAC Competency Card preferred.
- Experience with light-commercial HVAC systems preferred.
- Experience with maintenance agreements or preventive maintenance programs is a plus.
