Schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, Friday with Saturdays as needed

Collars Dog Resort is a state-of-the-art dog daycare, boarding, training and grooming facility located in Kansas City, Missouri. Our team is made up of hardworking, dedicated animal lovers who are passionate about providing exceptional care for dogs and excellent service to their owners.
We are currently looking for a Professional Dog Bather to join our grooming team at our Waldo location.
Position Overview
The Professional Dog Bather plays an important role in helping dogs feel clean, comfortable and cared for during their grooming visit. This position is responsible for bathing, blow drying, brushing, combing out coats, assisting with de-matting and trimming paw pads as needed.
This role also supports the overall flow of the grooming salon by helping with scheduling, reviewing future appointments, communicating with clients when needed and working closely with the salon team to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Bathing, blow drying, brushing and combing out dogs of various breeds, coat types and temperaments
Assisting with de-matting and trimming paw pads as needed
Helping ensure dogs are comfortable, safe and well cared for throughout the bathing process
Reviewing grooming schedules to help ensure appointments are booked correctly
Assisting with scheduling, rescheduling or editing appointments as needed
Speaking with clients when needed to confirm requests or gather additional information
Working closely with the grooming team to support efficient salon operations
Keeping grooming supplies stocked and tools cleaned
Cleaning salon equipment and drying runs at the end of the day
Vacuuming, dusting, mopping, cleaning tubs and disinfecting grooming areas
Keeping the grooming room clean, organized and presentable at all times
Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Previous experience providing animal care, either personal or job-related, is preferred
Experience bathing animals is a big plus
Comfortable working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, temperaments and hair types
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
Willingness to learn scheduling software and assist with appointment management
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team
