Pets & Pals Animal Shelter is seeking a dedicated, reliable, and compassionate individual to join our small, hardworking team. This is a role where you will spend your time directly caring for our animals and helping them find their forever homes through public outreach and administrative support.
The Role
This is a physically active, hands-on position. You will be the primary caregiver for our residents and the face of our shelter for potential adopters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Animal Care: Feeding, cleaning kennels, and providing daily enrichment for dogs and cats.
- Medical Support: Administering vaccinations and medications (training provided).
- Adoptions: Engaging with the public, introducing pets to families, and educating potential owners on specific care requirements.

Schedule & Location
- Hours: Tuesday to Saturday (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
- Note: Saturdays are a mandatory requirement for this position.
- Location: Lathrop, CA, on-site only.

Pay: $17.00 per hour
