1836 Farms is a family-owned and operated dairy processing and distribution facility. The 1836 Farms family has a long and storied history of dairy farming starting with their great grandpa over 100 years ago in Switzerland. We have experience in bottling milk the old school way with old school practices using today’s technology. We also believe that milk in glass bottles is the healthiest and most ecological choice to maintain and sustain our environment, not only here in Texas, but across the U.S. 1836 Farms operates in a 39,500 square foot facility located just outside of Dallas in Terrell, TX.
We are looking for a Part-Time Product Weekend Merchandiser on Saturday and Sunday in the Northwest San Antonio areas along Loop 1604 from Sea World to I10 to service our retail stores to make sure the shelves are always stocked with our amazing products.
Job Overview
The Product Merchandiser role at 1836 Farms, involves restocking merchandise displays in retail stores, ensuring that products are available and presented attractively to customers. As a Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the visual appeal of our retail space and ensuring that our products are presented in an engaging and organized manner. Your creativity and organizational skills will contribute to driving sales and improving the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Travel between store locations in assigned territory using own vehicle
- Examine merchandise displays to identify items in need of replenishment
- Pull back-stock from storage area to refill displays, rotating stock using First In First Out system
- Ensure that product displays look professional and appealing, ie; merchandise is displayed appropriately with proper signage and favorable shelf placement
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the merchandising area to create an inviting shopping environment.
Skills
- Knowledge of merchandising best practices.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and administrative responsibilities related to stock control.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize/ self-motivate
- Effective time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Demands:
- Position requires lifting (up to 50 pounds), reaching, climbing, pulling, stooping, fine hand manipulation and kneeling.
- Extensive driving will be required to service customer base.
