Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable, energetic, and customer-focused Crew Member to join our team at Papa Murphy's. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, and is eager to learn all aspects of store operations. As a Crew Member, you will be cross-trained in every area of the business, including food preparation, customer service, inventory management, opening and closing procedures, and daily store operations. We are looking for individuals with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic who have the potential to grow into future leadership and management roles.
Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh dough, toppings, and ingredients according to Papa Murphy's standards.
- Assemble and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide outstanding customer service in person and over the phone.
- Take customer orders, answer questions, and assist with product recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store, including food preparation areas, customer areas, and equipment.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash handling, cleaning, stocking, and operational checklists.
- Receive, organize, and rotate inventory deliveries while following food safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory counts and stock management.
- Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.
- Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Learn all aspects of store operations and take on additional responsibilities as skills develop.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous food service or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple tasks at once.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service while maintaining attention to detail.
- Interest in developing leadership skills and growing into future management opportunities.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to access and retrieve products from refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as dough preparation, pizza assembly, and stocking supplies.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
