Role Overview:
As a Personal Caregiver at Homewatch CareGivers of Lakewood, you will be responsible for delivering compassionate in-home support, particularly for clients with dementia. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our dedicated care team to ensure that individuals receive the consistency, patience, and skill they need to live comfortably and safely. Since this is an on-site position, you will have the opportunity to directly engage with clients and make a meaningful impact during your shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance for daily living activities.

Deliver specialized support and understanding for clients with dementia, addressing both their physical and emotional needs.

Maintain a consistent care routine and build meaningful relationships with clients.

Document care provided and communicate effectively with the care team and family members.

Assist clients in maintaining their hygiene, mobility, and social engagement to enrich their quality of life.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills.
- Experience in caregiving, particularly with clients suffering from dementia.

Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to care.

Ability to work flexible hours.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
Bonus If You:
- Have specialized training or certification in dementia care or related fields.

Possess first aid and CPR certification.

Have prior experience working with elderly populations in a home setting.
Employment Type & Availability:
This is a Part-Time to Full-Time position in Evergreen, Conifer, and Idaho Springs locations.
Location:
Our office is in Lakewood but the clients live in either Evergreen, Conifer, or Idaho Springs.
