We are a small, boutique law firm based in Norwell, Massachusetts, specializing in real estate title examination, title insurance, and escrow-related services. Our team takes pride in delivering precise, personalized, and efficient service to our clients. We are looking for an experienced Senior Paralegal to join our close-knit team and take ownership of complex commercial and residential real estate transactions.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Paralegal with strong expertise in real estate closings, title insurance, and escrow. In this role, you will manage the full closing process, work directly with clients, lenders, and title companies, and serve as a trusted resource within our firm. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who thrives in a small-firm environment and enjoys managing files from start to finish.
Title Insurance: Prepare title insurance commitments, issue title policies, and review title examinations for accuracy and completeness.
Closing Documents: Prepare settlement statements, HUD-1 statements, closing disclosures, and all related transaction documents.
Escrow Services: Review escrow agreements and act as escrow agent for commercial and residential closings.
Due Diligence: Analyze title commitments, surveys, and easements; identify and resolve title issues in coordination with attorneys and clients.
Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for closing timelines, document delivery, and approvals, ensuring all parties are aligned.
File Management: Maintain organized and compliant transaction files from opening through post-closing.
Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of paralegal experience in real estate closings, title insurance, and escrow.
Core Knowledge: Deep understanding of Massachusetts real estate title law, title examination, and title insurance practices.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in preparing HUD statements, closing disclosures, and settlement documents.
Software Proficiency: Experience with closing software (e.g., SoftPro, Qualia, or similar) is strongly preferred.
Education: Paralegal certificate and/or bachelor's degree preferred.
Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
