Duties
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and supplies, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control standards are maintained.
- Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced imaging equipment such as 3D scanners and digital radiography systems.
- Manage patient records accurately within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Dentrix , ensuring HIPAA compliance for patient privacy.
- Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
Experience
- Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in dental terminology.
- Hands-on experience with EMR systems such as Dentrix ; knowledge of Epic or similar platforms is a plus.
- Skilled in taking X-rays, performing medical imaging procedures, and maintaining infection control protocols.
- Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry and pediatric patients to assist effectively across various specialties including endodontics and prosthodontics.
- Strong understanding of dental assisting techniques including aseptic procedures, chairside support, and patient communication.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
