The Clinical Informatics Nurse plays a vital role in bridging clinical operations and Information Technology, ensuring that electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively support high-quality patient care. This position collaborates with clinicians, leadership, and IT teams to evaluate and improve workflows, enhance system functionality, and support the adoption of clinical technologies.
Key responsibilities include optimizing clinical workflows, supporting EHR governance and system improvements, and providing training and onboarding for staff. The Clinical Informatics Nurse also participates in go-live support, rounding activities, and ongoing education to ensure successful system use and continuous improvement.
This role contributes to quality and safety initiatives by monitoring system performance, analyzing data, and identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and patient outcomes. The ideal candidate is a licensed nurse with clinical experience, strong communication and analytical skills, and a passion for informatics, technology, and process improvement in a healthcare setting.

Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting

Clinical Informatics experience in an acute care setting
