Solo Endocrinology office looking for a motivated, friendly, highly functioning Medical Assistant or Nurse who is willing to learn and help the practice grow. The Medical Assistant would be responsible for assisting the physician(s), NP(s) preparing rooms and rooming patients, triaging patients, obtaining manual vital signs, EKG's, downloading Glucometers and insulin pumps, as well as administering injections and performing phlebotomy as needed. The Medical Assistant/Nurse will also assist the Receptionist in answering phones, scheduling appointments, calling in prescriptions, fully cross train at the front desk, prepping charts, obtaining referrals, placing referrals, obtaining prior authorizations, scanning and filing. We are family oriented and strive to meet the needs of the individuals who work in the office. The work week may include one or two Saturdays a month.
