Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated, entry-level IT Support Technician to assist with a wide range of technology needs throughout our campground. This position involves both software and hardware support, including office computers, network equipment, and campground Wi-Fi infrastructure. The ideal candidate is dependable, eager to learn, and comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide basic technical support for office computers, printers, phones, and point-of-sale systems
- Assist with campground Wi-Fi systems, including access points, routers, and Wi-Fi poles
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues for staff and guests when needed
- Perform basic hardware installation, setup, and maintenance
- Assist with software setup, updates, and user support
- Help maintain network equipment and cabling
- Document issues and solutions for future reference
- Work with vendors or senior IT support when needed
- Perform other technology-related tasks as assigned around the campground
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
- Basic knowledge of computers, software, and common operating systems (Windows, macOS, etc.)
- Basic understanding of hardware components (PCs, printers, networking equipment)
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable working outdoors at times and around the campground
Preferred (But Not Required)
- Basic networking knowledge (Wi-Fi, routers, access points)
- Prior IT support, technical, or hands-on troubleshooting experience
- Familiarity with campground or hospitality systems (a plus, not required)
Training Provided
- On-the-job training for campground systems and Wi-Fi infrastructure
- Guidance on troubleshooting procedures and equipment
- Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of IT tasks
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to climb ladders or work near Wi-Fi poles

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.17 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
