Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Handle retail sales transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Clover.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation and service areas
- Manage cash handling accurately, including cash register operations and balancing at shift end
- Assist with food handling, basic food preparation, and serving food items in accordance with safety guidelines
- Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks seamlessly while upholding quality standards
Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in food service environments with café experience preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions and cashiering
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume periods
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and proper food preparation techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
