The Sales Support Specialist is a seasoned professional role applying in-depth disciplinary knowledge to develop new techniques and improve processes/work-flow for the area/function. It integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area, with in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate and contribute to functional and overall business objectives.
This role evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, requiring good analytical skills to filter, prioritize, and validate complex/dynamic material from multiple sources. It involves professional judgment in interpreting data, results, and systematically communicating information.
This Sales Support role provides on desk support to the sales force, focusing on improved client experience and sales efficiency. It requires technical product knowledge, an understanding of end-to-end infrastructure, and skilled collaboration with internal stakeholders, control groups, and senior leadership.
- Sales Support Specialist provides sales support coverage across Spread Product Sales, Syndicate and Private Markets
- Work closely with business heads and relevant stakeholders on ongoing business operations and deploying new business strategies
- Drive administrative, operational, reporting and quality improvements for the business working closely with other stakeholders
- Assist with internal/external audit reviews and inquiries
- Partner with other SP Business Execution, Risk and control ,and other stakeholders to deliver on business strategies
- Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
- Serve as point of contact for all escalation for the business
- Performance of data analysis and presentation of Sales relevant Key Performance Indicators, such as Client Valuation and Production
- Re-engineering / automation of high impact processes to improve sales / client experience
- Experience with Sales management systems/policies
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations
Qualifications:
5-8 years of experience
Sales support experience
Excellent knowledge of the Investor Services
Excellent computer skills with MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
Proven communications and project management skills
