Job Summary:
The Press Brake Operator handles the daily operation, maintenance, programming/editing of programs, and in-process parts inspection. The Press Break Operator sets up and/or operates a press brake machine to bend, form, or straighten material as specified by traveler and customer needs or specification. The Operator is responsible for satisfying customer requirements of quality, quantity and delivery, in a safe manner while maximizing productivity.
Summary of essential Job functions:
- Produce parts from metal using a press brake, a computer numeric controlled (CNC) piece of equipment that makes precision bends
- Program/Set up Press Brake
- Work from and interpret fairly complicated sketches, drawings, blueprints, routings, product specifications
- Produce high quality product of superb craftsmanship
- Create custom fabrications made from Stainless Steel, Aluminum and Mild Steel for commercial and industrial clientele
- Produce products consistent with quality established standards
- Inspect finished product to ensure it is defect-free and ready for the next step in production
- On-time delivery of fabricated metal products
- Work with a heightened level of focus on SAFETY
- Work with good housekeeping and waste management practices

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 48.0 per week
