This position is ideal for an experienced Occupational Therapist (OTR) ready to provide quality onsite services as a compassionate leader during a maternity leave. The assignment will run from the beginning of October through the end of March, with a flexible four-day workweek (approximately 30 hours each week). You’ll receive additional assignment-specific details as the start date approaches.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, active New Hampshire Occupational Therapist (OTR) license
- School-based OT experience strongly preferred
- Ability to confidently serve K-12th grade populations
- Commitment to delivering hands-on, onsite services (no virtual/remote work)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience covering maternity/paternity leaves a plus
- Flexibility to adapt to changing caseload needs as circumstances dictate
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based OT assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring for K-12 students
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create accessible learning environments
- Support students’ achievement of IEP goals and maintain all required documentation
- Attend and participate in meetings relating to student care and progress
- Cultivate a supportive and inclusive therapy space
- Ensure compliance with all state and school district policies
