We are seeking an experienced and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our dynamic team in the Frisco, Plano, McKinney area. Position Summary
The Advanced Practice Provider will work closely with physicians and clinical staff to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, managing medications, providing patient education, and coordinating ongoing care.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and follow-up visits
- Obtain detailed medical histories and perform physical examinations
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pain conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
- Prescribe medications and manage medication therapy within scope of practice
- Review diagnostic studies, laboratory results, and imaging reports
- Educate patients regarding treatment options, interventional options, medication compliance, and lifestyle modifications
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and referring providers
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and clinic regulations regarding controlled substance prescribing and pain management protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical team meetings
QualificationsRequired
- Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) license in the state of Texas
- DEA registration and prescriptive authority
- Current BLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)
Preferred
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in pain management, orthopedics, physical medicine and rehabilitation, neurology, family medicine, internal medicine, or related specialty
- Experience managing chronic pain patients
- Familiarity with opioid management guidelines and controlled substance regulations
- Experience performing joint injections, trigger point injections, or other office-based procedures (if applicable)
