We are looking for a friendly, compassionate, dependable and team oriented Receptionist to join our growing veterinary team! This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, loves animals, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
As the first point of contact for our clients and patients, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience while supporting the daily operations of the hospital.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and patients in a professional and compassionate manner
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist clients with scheduling appointments, questions, and general information
- Check clients in for appointments
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians and medical staff
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Assist with administrative tasks and daily office operations
- Provide exceptional customer service during both routine and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience is a plus
- Veterinary or medical office experience preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Basic computer and phone skills
- Compassion for animals and their owners
