Antea USA, Inc. (Antea®Group) is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Environmental Geologist, Environmental Scientist, or Environmental Engineer to join our growing team in St. Paul, Minnesota.

At Antea Group, we believe successful project managers first become exceptional technical field leaders and project support leaders. In this role, you'll work directly alongside experienced Project Managers and senior technical staff who will mentor you as you develop expertise in environmental investigations, remediation, client communication, budgeting, project coordination, and technical leadership.
This is a full-time position with 50% of regional travel anticipated. This may require working alone in remote locations and/or out-of-state work supporting other company offices. Typical travel includes staying over at site locations for several nights per week, a couple of weeks per month. The locations may change based on client contracts and remediation site needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Training

BS in Environmental Sciences / Soil Science / Geology / Environmental Engineering or related science major

3-5 years of applicable environmental experience

This position will require a 40-hour HAZWOPER OSHA certification. While current certification is desirable, it is not required to apply. HAZWOPER training will be provided upon employment if the successful candidate(s) is/are not already certified
Experience & Fundamental Skill Set
-
Strong organizational and communication skills with an innate attention to detail
-
Mechanical aptitude that is suitable for working on remediation systems including troubleshooting pumps, blowers, and motors. Advanced engineering is not mandatory but finding enjoyment in fixing mechanical problems with equipment is a plus. Senior engineering support will help train and mentor the right candidate to learn our remediation systems.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Strong time management and decision-making skills

Able to work independently at remote locations to troubleshoot issues with sampling equipment and produce results

Ability to multi-task with multiple projects or assignments

Interest and motivation to diversify skill set with additional training

Familiarity with state (Minnesota, and other midwestern states) and federal environmental regulatory framework

Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future.

Potential employees must be able to satisfactorily complete a background check, pre-employment drug screening (as permitted by law), and baseline physical (safety-sensitive roles). They must also have a valid driver's license and good driving record.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The salary range for this position is $65,000-$78,000. Compensation will vary depending on the applicant’s job-related knowledge and skills, education, and work experience. Additional compensation may be considered if the applicant’s technical and project experience exhibit additional project management readiness skills.
