The Pharmacy Purchaser maintains an appropriate supply of drugs and pharmaceuticals for John Muir Health System. The Pharmacy Purchaser handles ordering, invoicing, billing and tracking of pharmaceuticals and supplies. The Pharmacy Purchaser coordinates pharmaceutical cost containment programs (ie SEARCH), maintains accurate contract pricing (ie Vizient), and government drug pricing programs (ie 340B) across the health system.
Education:
High School Graduate or Equivalent Required or
Equivalent Experience 2 years of College - Preferred
Completion of Pharmacy Technician Program - Preferred
College Mathematics - Preferred
Coursework General Science - Preferred
Experience:
5 years Pharmacy - Inpatient Pharmacy Technician - Preferred
5 years Pharmacy - Pharmacy Purchasing, 340B program experience - Preferred
Certifications/Licensures:
08.0 - 08:00 - 17:00 (United States of America)
Pay Range:
$39.95 - $53.93

Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.
Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.
