Downtown Toledo Law Firm looking to hire a highly motivated individual as a full-time paralegal. We are looking for someone willing to learn more than one area of practice and work with several different lawyers, depending on the workload. Our office is a friendly, fast-paced environment for the right person. We are a medium-size downtown firm with a diverse practice. The appropriate candidate will have a 2-year or 4-year degree in Paralegal studies. We offer health insurance, 401K, and vacation time. The following areas of practice and duties will be the focus of employment.
Insurance Defense, Litigation
Preparation of forms, correspondence, pleadings and file review for the attorney
Scheduling of depositions and client meetings
Request, review, and summarize medical records
Client and attorney contact
Completion of discovery tasks for file evaluation
Client, court, and attorney contact
Prepare and respond to written discovery
Electronic filing
Special discovery projects
Practice Master/Tabs – time and billing
Microsoft Office 365 Suite
Adobe, DropBox and other applications
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
