Ronnie’s Carpets & Flooring is looking for a full-time Flooring Trade Apprentice to join our team. No experience is necessary—we provide paid training!
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn a skilled trade, develop valuable hands-on skills, and build a long-term career in the flooring industry.
What You’ll Learn & Do
As you train with our team, you will learn a variety of skills, including:
- Custom Area Rug Binding: Learn how to turn carpet into beautiful, custom-made area rugs.
- Flooring & Carpet Preparation: Prepare flooring and carpet orders to be delivered or shipped with installers or picked up by customers.
- Trim Preparation: Prepare quarter round and baseboards, including painting them for installation jobs.
- Carpet & Tile Cleaning: Learn professional carpet and tile cleaning techniques.
- Installation Support: Help prepare materials, tools, and products for flooring installation jobs.
- Shop & Work Area Maintenance: Keep our buildings, shop, equipment, and work areas neat, clean, and organized.
- Perform other general tasks that help keep our operations running smoothly.
You will be trained on the job and gradually learn more of the flooring trade as your skills develop.

Requirements
- No previous flooring experience required
- Paid training provided
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must pass a background check
- Must be willing to work in a drug-free workplace
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
