Production Line Operator
SmartTalent Staffing is hiring a Production Line Operator to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. This role is responsible for assembling product while following detailed electronic work instructions, using a touchscreen workstation to review each assembly step, complete required work, and accurately record production and quality data throughout the process. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, is comfortable with technology, and can maintain a consistent pace while following established procedures.
LOCATION: Everett, WA
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday
1st Shift: 6am -2:30pm
2nd Shift: 2:45pm – 11:15pm
3rd Shift: 10:45pm – 5:45am
PAY: $20 - $22/hr DOE

Key Responsibilities
Follow written and visual work instructions displayed on a touchscreen workstation.
Assemble product according to defined production procedures and quality requirements.
Enter required production, process, and inspection data into the computer system at the appropriate steps.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining consistent quality and production pace.
Verify that each step of the work instruction has been completed correctly before proceeding.
Inspect components and completed assemblies for defects, damage, or other quality concerns.
Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
Identify and communicate problems with materials, equipment, work instructions, or product quality.
Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently follow written instructions.
Comfortable using computers, touchscreen systems, and basic data-entry applications.
Ability to use common hand tools and power tools.
Ability to perform repetitive assembly work in a high-speed production environment.
Ability to accurately record information while simultaneously following the production process.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Ability to recognize when a product, component, or process does not match the work instruction.
Dependable and able to maintain consistent attendance and productivity.
Ability to work effectively as part of a production team.
Preferred Skills
Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or mechanical experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand how components fit and function together.
Experience using electronic work instructions or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
Experience working in a quality-controlled manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with basic inspection tools and manufacturing terminology.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and work at a production station for up to 8 hours per shift.
Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements throughout the workday.
Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
Ability to handle and manipulate production components throughout the shift.
Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail while performing repetitive work.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable using technology, and able to work accurately at a fast pace. They can follow detailed instructions without skipping steps, understand the importance of accurate data entry and traceability, and maintain quality even when performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
