Schedule
- Full Time 2pm-10pm (4 on 2 off rotating schedule)
Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Support residents with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care strategies
- Use assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts safely to prevent injury during transfers
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and preferences while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to promote mental well-being
- Follow safety procedures including first aid response and emergency protocols when necessary
- Maintain a clean, organized environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks within residents’ living spaces
- Support residents’ participation in community outings or transportation needs by driving when qualified
Experience
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or long-term care environments is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to assist with ADLs and provide personal care in home or community settings
- Experience caring for individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral management needs is advantageous
- Knowledge of dementia and memory care best practices, including Alzheimer's care techniques
- Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation purposes
- Valid certifications in first aid and CPR are required; additional certifications such as medication administration or Hoyer lift training are a plus
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
