Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Fence Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation, repair, and maintenance of fences and related structures. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop hands-on skills in construction, carpentry, and landscape maintenance while contributing to high-quality fencing solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and preparation of construction sites, including measuring and marking fence lines.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to install fencing materials such as wood, metal, or vinyl panels.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks to move materials, posts, and panels safely around the work site.
- Support framing carpentry and masonry tasks related to fence posts, concrete forming, and foundational work.
- Operate welding equipment when required for metal fence components or structural supports.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with team members on landscape maintenance, hardscape installation, and concrete finishing projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with carpentry, frame carpentry, masonry, or concrete forming is a plus.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment safely and effectively.
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and practices.
- Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward completing tasks efficiently.
