Key Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, plates, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Assist kitchen staff with maintaining clean and sanitary workstations
- Remove trash and recycling and maintain clean floors and surrounding areas
- Properly handle and store clean dishes, cookware, and utensils
- Assist with basic kitchen cleaning and closing duties
- Restock supplies as needed throughout the shift
- Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation regulations
- Communicate effectively with cooks, servers, and other kitchen staff
- Help maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen during busy breakfast and lunch service
Schedule
- Part-time position
- Morning and daytime shifts
- We close at 2:00 PM during the week and 3:00 PM on weekends
- Weekend availability required
- Flexible scheduling available based on business needs
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or dishwashing experience preferred, but not required
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable standing and moving for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs
- Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Bilingual Spanish is preferred
