Duties
- Supervise overnight warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling operations
- Lead and motivate warehouse staff to achieve daily operational goals while maintaining high safety standards
- Coordinate the use of forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Oversee inventory management systems and ensure accurate tracking using RF scanners and warehouse management software such as AS400 or similar platforms
- Implement process improvements aligned with lean management principles to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce waste
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and uphold safety protocols across all warehouse activities
- Collaborate with logistics partners, including 3PL providers, to facilitate seamless distribution center operations and timely shipments
- Conduct regular audits of inventory accuracy and oversee cycle counts to maintain optimal stock levels
- Manage shipping & receiving processes, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to customer requirements
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools for reporting, scheduling, and communication purposes
- Provide managerial communication to relay operational updates, safety information, and team performance feedback
Skills
- Extensive experience in warehouse distribution, logistics, or supply chain environments with a focus on warehouse operations
- Proven track record in warehouse supervisor roles or similar leadership positions within distribution centers
- Strong knowledge of inventory control systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and inventory management best practices
- Skilled in operating heavy lifting equipment such as forklifts and mechanical handling tools safely (certification preferred)
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies including lean management principles
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for effective team leadership and managerial interactions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation tasks
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and materials handling procedures for e-commerce or retail distribution centers
- Mechanical aptitude for understanding equipment operation and troubleshooting issues as they arise

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
