Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and dependable Shop Helper to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will support daily operations. Your energetic approach will help ensure smooth workflow, safety, and efficiency across the production floor. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing facility while contributing to high-quality product assembly.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and organization of workstations using hand tools and power tools to facilitate efficient production processes
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials and supplies throughout the facility
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop floor, including sweeping, trash removal, and tool storage
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report any maintenance needs promptly
- Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operation of machinery
Experience
- Previous manufacturing facility experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic assembly techniques is advantageous
- Warehouse experience involving material handling or forklift operation is a plus
- Mechanical aptitude or knowledge of manufacturing processes will help in performing duties effectively
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
