R&N Manufacturing has an immediate opening for an experienced maintenance technician for a full-time day-shift position. The qualified candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of routine and complex tasks including setup, troubleshooting, repair, predictive and preventive maintenance schedules, and improvement of all production equipment when required.
Required working hours will be Monday through Friday: 6:00am-4:30pm and Saturday: 6:00am-4:30pm.
Responsibilities:
· Perform preventive maintenance on equipment according to maintenance schedules
· Keep accurate logs and detailed records of maintenance performed
· Dismantling defective machinery and equipment commonly used in a fabrication shop to diagnose, repair, or troubleshoot malfunctions
· Possess advanced knowledge of mechanical and facilities repair and maintenance
· Perform emergency repairs, when necessary, to limit excessive downtime and production delays
· Read basic drawings, electrical and hydraulic schematics
· Proper use and care for all equipment
· Maintain cleanliness of work area
· Practice and comply with company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times
· Perform other maintenance work, as needed, or dictated by the facilities manager
Required Experience:
· 2+ years of commercial or industrial maintenance-related experience
· Prior experience pertaining to the welding industry is highly desirable
· Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in manufacturing
· Strong technical knowledge, diagnostic and repair abilities with precision electrical and mechanical manufacturing equipment including, but not limited to:
Welding Machines
Pneumatics
Hydraulics
Turning rolls
Positioners
Manipulators
Compressed air and filtration systems
Forklifts of various capacity
