Table & Banter Hospitality is seeking a hospitality-driven Barista to join our team at Café 200. More than preparing exceptional coffee and fresh food, this role helps shape the daily experience of the tenants, visitors, and guests of Round Table Studios. What You'll Do
- Create welcoming, memorable experiences for every tenant, guest, and visitor by delivering genuine hospitality with each interaction.
- Prepare handcrafted espresso beverages, coffee, tea, smoothies, juices, sandwiches, and deli offerings in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
- Provide knowledgeable and personalized recommendations while accurately taking orders and processing transactions through the point-of-sale system.
- Ensure every food and beverage item is prepared, presented, and served with consistency, quality, and attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting café environment that reflects the elevated standards of Café 200 and Round Table Studios.
- Restock food, beverage, and retail items to ensure the café is prepared to serve guests throughout the day.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations.
- Work collaboratively with fellow team members to support daily café operations and deliver a seamless guest experience.
- Assist with opening, closing, inventory, and other operational responsibilities as assigned.
- Embrace cross-training opportunities and support other areas of the café as business needs evolve.
What We're Looking For
- Foundational experience in customer service, hospitality, cafés, restaurants, retail, or other guest-facing environments is preferred. We also welcome individuals who demonstrate the enthusiasm, strong work ethic, and commitment to learn and grow in a role that delivers elevated hospitality and exceptional guest experiences.
- Previous experience in food preparation, safe food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety standards is highly desirable.
- A positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude with a genuine desire to serve others.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with guests and colleagues.
- Ability to work efficiently and remain organized in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation.
