Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Insurance Verification Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for verifying patient insurance coverage and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. The role requires strong knowledge of insurance policies , as well as excellent communication skills. Must be able to travel from the East and West clinics.
Duties
- Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain necessary information from patients or healthcare providers
- Utilize managed care and insurance company databases to determine coverage and benefits
- Update patient records with verified insurance information
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of insurance verification
- Verify Workers compensation cases by obtaining adjuster approval and schedule patients
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
-Must be Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Experience in insurance verification
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in an office setting under pressure and multitask
-Workers compensation knowledge a plus

Pay: $25,000.00 - $30,000.00 per year
