Company Drivers transport general freight via containers / trailers for dedicated customers. We haul general freight. No touch. Freight is mostly drop and hook, with occasional live loading/unloading. Drivers average 10 hours per shift.
Also hiring port driver, with at least one year of port experience.
· Effective pre/post trip inspections on trucks, containers/trailers, chassis
· Complete all paperwork accurately and per company requirements
· Update paperwork correctly and timely through text message system daily. Turn in all required paperwork weekly.
· Communicate effectively with dispatch. Promptly respond to text messages and phone calls from dispatch.
Qualifications and Skills
· Must be at least 25 years of age and have a valid Class "A" CDL for at least one year.
· Provide an acceptable DMV print out
· 2 years verifiable experience preferred and an acceptable work history for the past 10 years. All gaps in employment must be accounted for
· A copy of a valid DOT Physical long form and medical card
· A DOT drug test with a negative result
· Acceptable Query in the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
. Port driver requires valid TWIC card
Schedule:

· Monday to Friday
· Night Shift
· Weekends
