Our History:
The Residence of Grand Mesa was constructed in 2001 when our founders identified a need for locally based, quality, and affordable assisted living in the community for Mesa County Senior Citizens. During our expansive time serving the community we have cultivated many successful and continuing relationships with numerous community partners including Rocky Mountain Health Plans Medicaid, Colorado Health First, various home health agencies, hospice agencies, local hospitals, and physician’s groups. We continue to grow and advance each year to meet the changing needs of the residents and population service. We hold ourselves to high standards of quality care, humanity, tolerance, acceptance, equality, and equity.
Position Summary:
The cook position is responsible for creating meals for residents based of the approved regular and alternate menu each meal, completes any prep work for up coming meals, completes clean up and storage after meals, assists with serving meals to residents, quality checks meals to meet Health Department and Facility set standards, assists in cleaning of dietary and kitchen areas.
Hours and Schedule:
This is a full-time position consisting of both day shift and evening shift. This position does require weekend availability.

Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED
1 year Restaurant or Commercial Kitchen experience
