Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Test Technician to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in testing, troubleshooting, and validating electrical and electro-mechanical systems to ensure they meet quality standards and functional specifications. Your hands-on expertise will help drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, support product development, and maintain high levels of operational excellence. Responsibilities
1. Assist with Mechanical Testing
Support the execution of mechanical tests on components and products in accordance with established test procedures, engineering instructions, and industry standards.
2. Set Up and Operate Test Equipment
Assist in the setup, calibration, and operation of test equipment and instrumentation under guidance to ensure accurate and repeatable test conditions.
3. Equipment Maintenance
Perform routine checks, basic maintenance, and housekeeping of test equipment to ensure proper functionality and cleanliness of the test area.
4. Data Collection and Monitoring
Collect, record, and organize test data; monitor test progress and report any irregularities, deviations, or equipment issues to the Test Engineer.
5. Support Failure Evaluation
Assist in inspecting and documenting failed test components and field return parts to support root cause investigations.
6. Basic Troubleshooting Support
Identify and report mechanical or equipment issues; work with engineers and senior technicians to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
7. Follow Safety and Compliance Requirements
Adhere to all safety procedures, company policies, and applicable industry standards during test setup and execution.
8. Support Test Procedure Updates
Provide feedback and observations from testing activities to help improve test setups, procedures, and efficiency.
9. Customer or Field Support (as needed)
Assist with onsite test setup or execution at customer locations under supervision, as required - Occasional Light Travel (overnight)
10. General Support Tasks
Perform additional duties as assigned to support test operations, lab organization, and team objectives.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Technical Institute Program / Associate Degree in Engineering Technology a plus.
- 0-2 Years Experience
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude
- Component Testing
- Basic Wiring Skills

Primarily standing, Lifting/Carrying 25lbs, Reaching, Bending, Kneeling, Squatting, Forklift
