Great Explorations is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic preschool teacher to foster and facilitate the intellectual and social development of the children.
Teaching preschool includes planning, implementing, and assessing lessons. You will teach children with patience and creativity. Preschool teacher duties include designing a teaching plan and using activities and instructional methods to motivate children. Our innovative preschool is located in a children's museum and follows a creative curriculum. Applicants must be flexible, energetic, team-oriented, outgoing, nurturing, have great written and verbal communication skills, and be willing to learn and implement various teaching methods. We offer low ratios and 2 teachers in every classroom.
Early Explorations Preschool follows PCSB closure schedule regarding holidays and offers teachers paid time off (after 90 days of employment) during fall and winter breaks.
*40 clock hours, VPK Certificate, and CDA is preferred **MUST have a high school diploma or equivalent.
***MUST be available Monday - Friday between the hours of operation 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (will only work 40 hours per week) Job Type: Full-time, we offer full benefits after 90 days and P.T.O.
