Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight, equipment, and materials across various routes while ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise in truck driving and familiarity with different trailer types will be essential in maintaining our high service levels. This position offers an engaging environment where your driving skills directly contribute to our operational success and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other commercial vehicles.
- Load and unload freight efficiently and securely, ensuring proper handling of different cargo types.
- Drive assigned routes confidently while adhering to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Manage delivery schedules effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining safety standards.
- Assist with loading or unloading cargo using forklifts or other equipment when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, and vehicle inspections for compliance purposes.
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver with a strong understanding of route driving and freight handling.
- Hands-on experience operating manual transmission trucks and various trailer types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or dump trucks.
- Familiarity with load securing techniques for different cargo types to ensure safe transport.
- Ability to operate auxiliary equipment like forklifts when required for loading or unloading operations.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle types driven (e.g., tanker, flatbed).
- Prior experience with freight delivery, load & unload procedures, and route planning is highly desirable.

Pay: $24.22 - $29.16 per hour
